I love that as a subject, huh?

Esh had her 1 yr yeserday. She is 23 pounds, 31.5 inches. about 75/80% for weight, off the chart for height. Our little amazon.

I take Dor for a basic hearing/vision test at the elm school today so we can get going on this pepper program for speech. I got a referral to an audiologist to have a full hearing eval done though, I can pick up the referral in 7 – 10 days (so next week sometime). My dad wears two hearing aids, and has since he was about 4, and claims he is noticing some similarities between how he was speaking and how Dor is speaking. So we’ll see!  He passed the basic test at his doc appt last september, but that was a 2 minute nothing.

I pulled Dor from Kumon, he never wanted to do the reading. We’ve gotten back into our book, writing letters/words that start with whatever the letter of the week is. This week we’re back on G. We bought a solar system set to hang from his ceiling, it glows in the dark. We’re going to put the beds back together, set up the train table again. Good changes.

I’m knitting a cap for my mom, need to finish the skirt, start on Fish’s scarf, and I got some gorgeous lace weight yarn to knit myself a shawl. It’ll take forever, and that’s ok, because it’s for me lol  No deadline. I’d like to get some Lantern Moon needles. A whole set. Yah, right, at 25$ a pair at the cheapest. Oh, and I’m making my own damn stitch markers now. They rock!
