Sorry for the blur – but red!

I’m not really this pale (I don’t think) – I busted the front screen on my phone and I think it busted my camera too sad.gif

There is actually red, pink and orange, but it’s still wet and you can’t really see it yet.

And I don’t think you can really see it because of the photos, but there are black and copper hi/low lights in it. It’s so much better in person!

03 July 2007

Went to Old Vienna for dinner last night. I had lemon-dill sauce with shrimp and spatzle and the best, best creamed spinach I have ever had. I could taste the cream. OMG it was so not healthy but it was so so good. We chatted with a couple that works there. They are going in to the shop for some work. I’m not usually friendly… That should bad, but I a not usually friendly with people I don’t know. They were just a very comfortable couple, you know? He had some gorgeous eyes too… so light blue they are almost white. and he was so dark complected. I love that combination. I hate my plain old brown eyes.

People are drifting in and out of my life at an alarming rate. I want to just grab them and keep them close. I know it isn’t the natural way of things, so I try to be all right with it. It makes me sad to have people come into my life so prominently and so quickly, and wash away with the same speed.

Our A/C is broken. We’re hoping it just needs freon. My dad bought two window units to get us through the week (our house was reading over 90) so there is one in his room and one is our room. We have ceiling fans and floor fans, but… it’s so hot here.

He mentioned something about the shop the other day. I had to remind him to not talk to me about it. Let me ignore it. He says I can’t ignore it. I think I can.

Dorian is finally going to a dentist!

I am sure you have all noticed in Dorian’s photos it looks like he has been eating blueberries or I don’t know, drinking battery acid.

Well, we had been needing to go in for that, because the asshole dentist we went to last year said unless he is in pain, they wont do anything about baby teeth anyway. Wrong, guess again.

So his first tooth fell out a while ago, and I started a search for a dentist who a) takes our insurance and b) sees children.

I finally called the ins this morning and they found one who would see him (everyone I phoned either said under 5 or over 10) so we have an appointment for next Monday. One of his lower baby teeth is loose, but not out, and the adult tooth is coming in very crooked and very behind it. We’re going to have that taken care of it (the tooth in question is loose but not loose enough to come out easily) and let them take a look-see at the rest of his mouth and maybe make an appointment. The next check up appt wasn’t available until the end of May, but because of that tooth they got him in. I was just going to make an appt for the end of May for him as well, however they told me over the phone to just see what the doc has to say and maybe we’ll be going again a little bit sooner.

Yay!! Dorian got his dads teeth, in other words, weak and crumbly, thank goodness we are getting it taken care of and thank goodness the other two kids got my strong horseteeth lol
