We went to visit my gram last Monday (not this past, but last week) and she was tired, but ok. Then she didn’t get out of bed for a week. My zaide took her to the hospital yesterday. She had some problems, but she also has a few fractures in her back. My gram is 78 years old. She thinks her children don’t need her anyore, or her grand-children. She was up and moving around feeding her great-grand-children on Monday. She looked so happy. I’m really going to miss my gram if she just gives because she thinks no one needs her. I need her. And I’ve made sure to tell her often. I turned around and my gram and zaide got old. My mom did too. I took Esh with me when I took mom her lunch at her chemo today. All the other people were so happy to see a baby. It made me kind of sad. I can’t explain it, but walking into that chemo room, with these elderly people (my mom is only 52, the baby of the bunch by many years) who look like they are standing on deaths door, to bring new life in… It made an impact.

I was going to write this whole thing, but I just depressed myself.

We’re looking at seriously moving come 2007 or 2008. That should give me enough time to make sure mom is ok, give the inlaws time to build, us time to save up. The Mazda is paid off in a couple of months (July actually) and I am going to take that payment money and split it up between savings accounts, and some credit cards. Since we don’t have it to spend now, we wont miss it later. I want to have enough money by the time we are ready to move to

• hire movers
• be able to ship the mazda up
• have a net egg for the first few months worth of bills, expenses, etc..
• give my folks a chunk of money OR just start paying more on what household bills we pay now
• keep a good chunk of nest egg for emergancies

I’m sure there is more to that list, but I can’t think of it right now.

So far today I have taken my mom lunch, bought a new filter for the a/c, picked up some DVD’s we wanted that came out today, picked up the big trash in the bedroom. I need to

• get the glider out of the boys room and downstairs for trash (it’s old and busted) but I want to keep the ottomen that goes with it
• gather up the rest of the trash a well
• wash Esh’s diapers
• make dinner, I bough leg oflamb for my dad, so I also need to make some eggplant or something for me
• clean the bathroom and mop the floor, the boys spilled paint in there

Let’s see how much of that list gets done.

Go look at my ebay stuff please, I need money. Even if it’s just a little, it all goes to paying off the credit cards so I don’t have those expenses anymore. Nice thought, eh?
