slacking on posting

I have maintained at least 80% raw on the days I didn’t post my intake.
Today is smoothie – 1 coconut, 1 banana, 5 big strawberries, handful of ice

Raw, Day 8

smoothie – coconut, banana, mango, berry

… I failed in eating today …

smoothie – pineapple, strawberry, banana, soy milk

I made maple salmon for dinner tonight. I rarely pass up any salmon, let alone maple salmon. I had about 3 or 4 ounces of it. Not raw, but 100% delicious and I didn’t over eat, so I am not feeling heavy.

Banana-Nectarine-Coconut Smoothie

Recipe Ingredients

* one young Thai coconut
* one banana (large-ish)
* 1 nectarine, skin on, cut it off the pit
* eyeball some honey (I over did it, but I’d say a few tablespoons at most)
* fill with ice to 6 cup mark on blender pitcher

Recipe Instructions
Use above ingredients in this order:

coconut, banana, nectarine, honey, ice

Blend to smooth. You can add water if it’s too thick, but I found it was just the right consistency.

Dreads, week 3

I washed all the wax out, I am using this lock & twist gel product. It’s got coconut milk and stuff in it… it’s not quite like jello, but it’s a similar consistency lol I like it, it’s not flaky or sticky or anything and doesn’t attract gunk to my hair.

I actually want to order some of this, but I think I’ll wait till I use more of the jar of stuff I got just last week. I’ve ordered that brand from Sephora before and I liked it, tho not that product.

All in all, I am super happy with my hair and cannot wait to see where it is a year from now.

Oh, some people asked. I have 68 dreads.

Mmmm coconut

Easy Peasy Coconut Smoothie

1 young thai coconut, water & meat

1 banana (med/lg size, or two small)

5 icecubes (or however many you want)

Put coconut & banana in blender, blend to smooth/airy, add cubes, blend till they stop making noise.

That’s it! This makes, on average, 24 ounces of drink.
