I think we’re starting this in March 2010. In the mean time, I am FreeCycling and cleaning like crazy!
- repair windows – Sara & Dorian’s windows both need to be repaired/replaced
- purchase first floor accordion hurricane shutters and FreeCycle old manual shutters
- paint
- get new window shades and dressings for interior
- re-carpet stairs – maybe Berber?
- put down laminate in upstairs hall and master bedroom to match rest of bedrooms
- fix the hall bathroom (sink needs to be replaced, maybe cabinet too?)
- gut and replace downstairs “guest” bathroom
- fix or seal exterior dryer vent
fix/replace drywall and electric in downstairs front bedroompaint downstairs front bedroom- empty garage, get electric repaired, have garage painted, put up shelving and bike hooks
- fix ceiling in garage and living room (the popcorn is peeling, the ceiling itself is fine)
- fix all weather stripping and door molding, possibly replace doors?
- gut and replace master bath

- erect shelves in bedrooms?
- repair outside electric plugs
- clean sliding glass door tracks and possibly replace screens
- add handrail on stairs – 5/2012: M is getting better, maybe reconsider this
- replace tile in kitchen, put laminate in front room – maybe black and white linoleum in kitchen?
- kitchen time! fix the ceiling in the kitchen – repair hole from water damage, get new light fixture, paint, expand, new appliances, it’s a total redo.
- Swap dining room w/ Living room
- Move Dad’s desk to where TV currently is? Hand pegboard under counter (where desk currently is) for pans
