well, i hope it does!

Took the boys to school this morning. The alarm went off, i turned it off, stuck it under my pillow, and we slept in till 7.30. OOPS! Got them to school almost on time, and headed to KMart for socks and undies. They carry Joe Boxer socks, which I love for the boys, so yes, I make a special trip just for socks. I also got a package of undies for Dorian. His first package of plain old tighty whities. I hope he wears them. I also picked up two more pair of shorts for him (he is in a uniform this year, and my mom bought him 2 pair of shorts and 2 pair of pants, but it’s so hot here…). I did not buy mroe clothes for Chai, that’ll wait till next week after payday.

I joined a loal yahoogroup for knitters, which led to another local group, which led to a miami crafters group. Anyway, one of the gals there seems very nice. I think I might have to try to make it out one night for one of the meet ups. It’s down in Davie, only about a half hour drive, maybe 45 if I get lost.

I am all about making these caps for my moms doctors office. I can’t wait for my yarn to get here. I need to buy a smaller pair of circs mine are too long. Or I might cheat and just make rectangles and sew them, but the ladies at her doc office for treatment are a lil older, so I think delicate caps are better than funky headwear.

Knitpicks says the yarn is super soft, so I am hoping it really is. It’s light enough for Florida summers, and with a loose weave, it should be awesome. If it’s not super soft, I’ll have to line them, I think.

Oh, we lost the sucker fish we bought the other day. Fish took it back, then came home to get a water sample so they could test it. I tested it prior to adding the fish (we did a water change too, which might be where the problem was) and the pH was low, and we had to buy some bacteria to boost something else. So hopefully our new suckerfish wont die!
