and for a change from our norm (at least with Malachai lol) he let them do all the xrays, all the pictures, all the measurements and answered all the questions.
He goes back on the 21 for his spacers (they wanted him in on the 14, but that’s his birthday), the 30th for (I think) the expander, and the 7 for the bumper. I may have those last two backwards.
They gave us multiple payment plans, plus a 10% discount for taking appointments between 10:30 – 2:30 (I can pull him out of class for an hour to save a few hundred dollars in the long run) plus (if my dad can do it) a bit more of a discount for paying in full, up front. If we can, it comes to about 2800$ CHEAP AS FUCK! My dad pays over 4K for Michael & Sara’s braces and that’s with insurance. I wonder if he’ll switch lol
We also found out D might be a little bit tongue tied, which explains why he didn’t breastfeed and his speech issues and a bunch of other things. Or this dentist is just obsessed with the tongue impacting everything else (she made similar remarks about Malachai)
We go back in October to try and coerce Malachai to do the rest of the xrays and pictures and measurements, and she suggested we bring Malachai with us to Dorian’s appointments so he can see it’s not big deal. Sounds good to me!
