RAFFLE UPDATE 1/24/09: Since the website went live on December 17th we have received an overwhelming response from ticket purchasers and site visitors to make the tickets more affordable. So, we have decided to offer the raffle tickets for $50 dollars each. This of course increases the chances to 1 in 6000. Purchasers will still be able to have the 3000 to 1 odds by purchasing 2 tickets. Those who have already purchased will receive 2 entries into the raffle instead of one. This will keep their chance of winning the same as when they originally entered. This change will allow more people to enter the raffle and in turn we will be able to offer the drawing at a sooner date. This has been a learning experience for all of us and we hope it will open the door to more people.
How It Works
Up for raffle is this beautiful, newer 2,160 square foot townhome located in Downtown Coral Springs, Florida. The home raffle benefits The Bit by Bit Therapy charitable organization of Parkland.

Raffle tickets are purchased here on the Enter Now Page of this website. A total of only 6,000 tickets will be sold. Once 6,000 tickets are sold, the raffle drawing will be held. In the event 6,000 tickets are not sold by the anticipated raffle date of March 31, 2009, the right is reserved to extend the drawing date for an additional period(s) of time in order to reach said level or in the alternative to cancel the raffle and return all monies paid therefore to the purchaser of the ticket(s).
Multiple tickets may be purchased at a time. The cost is $50.00 per ticket, plus a $2.25 transaction processing fee. Your ticket is purchased from this site through PayPal’s secure website. Automatically your ticket will be generated and emailed to you. A copy will be sent to the drawing certifier (Robert Henry of Wittlin, Henry, Cain & Dry, CPA’s, P.A.) where the receipt copy will be placed into the raffle bin.
Once all 6,000 tickets are purchased, the accountant will then certify the drawing and authorize the honoree to draw the winning ticket. (The Honoree will be selected by the accounting firm and Bit by Bit Therapy). The drawing location will tentatively be at the property location. All entries will receive an email confirming the final raffle location and will be given the option to RSVP to attend. The winning ticket holder will be notified and his/her photo will be posted on the website. The drawing will also be recorded and posted on the Winner’s Page.
The winner gets THE DEED and THE KEYS to the Townhome free and clear!
The closing will be arranged to transfer title ownership at Main Street Title & Escrow, Inc. All costs of sale shall be paid by the raffle.

This will not obligate you to purchase tickets but it will help us get a count of how many tickets sales to expect. Please keep in mind that once 6000 are sold the opportunity to enter has passed. Filling in the form does not guarantee you the ability to purchase a ticket. Once we get closer to the 6,000 mark you will be then notified to make your purchase.
I am thinking about buying two, one for Michael and one for Sara, as belated birthday gifts. if one of them wins, they can share the house once they are of age.
