First thing this morning I helped clean up by the stairs, because construction (rather, deconstruction) began on our bathroom.
Then I got on the phone with the doctor about Sara’s testing, but found out it probably is not covered by the insurance (voluntary) but that the school can do their own testing. We phoned the school and she has an appointment for July 25th to get enrolled and whatnot. Good stuff there.
Got on the phone with the insurance (after having phoned a few different dentists on my own) and found one that can see Dorian (see my post in teething about that). Yay!
Went to the school to find out about the Florida PRIDE scholarship, and found out we don’t qualify because my dad claims the kids so they have health insurance. That means we have to include his income on the application which blows us out of the water income-to-person ratio and we don’t qualify. I saved 30$, but wasted 95 cents on a money order we didn’t actually need.
We went down to Sawgrass Mills and went shopping. Everyone got a little something today, so that was nice.
Then we went to pick up Malachai; Went to Penn Dutch for veggies and bread, dropped off said groceries; Went and picked up Dorian and Shmuel, dropped off Shmuel and spoke with Erin about a secret something (I don’t want to jinx it, but it’s super good stuff and I am really effing excited about it) and life insurance. Not 20 minutes after we got home, I got a call from her life insurance guy (who goes to the shul too, surprise surprise lol) and we have an appointment on Thursday to find out what our options are. I hear we can get a full million in coverage for about 30$ a month (per person) so I want to find out. I am really worried about what happens to whoever and the kids if one of us were to die, so this is good.
