Lacking

I have been so busy lately, but at the same time, I feel like a slack-ass. Go figure. I am pretty busy with EPD and PM’s. I think I have some Saari work coming up soon. Did Mismo work.

I started going over the tuition assistance papers for the boys school for next year today. Panicked. We are going to try to talk to Michal sometime in the next week. I don’t really want to get too much into it here, but to put it simply, we cannot afford tuition (it’s close to 25K per year for both boys) and I cannot solidify a number we can afford because our income changes week to week. I can volunteer Tuesday – Friday from 1 – 3.30, so I am hoping we can work something out. I’d like to read to the kids or… something. I have offered multiple times to volunteer this year (50 hours are required for scholarship families) but have not been taken up on it yet. Hopefully we can get this straightened out. I will not put them in the local public school (my brother and sister went to it, and I think it did them a great disservice).

So in lieu of real content from here on, here are some pictures!

So these are my ancient ass sandals. They went with me to Israel, clubbing, many many moves, and I’ve finally gotten the darn things fixed. The sole came out on both, and had to be nailed down, then the leather piece over the nails came off and I just got around to replacing it. For good measure, after I got them home and one of my straps busted, I Gorilla glued the strap in and the sole down. They should be good to me for many more years.

And we happened into one of my favourite shoe stores because we had some time to kill, and my fabulous husband spotted this find:

They are normally 80$, they were on sale for 20$ because they were the last pair, and happened to be my size. The leopard spotty goodness is fuzzy, we think it’s cow hide.

Oh and, Eshivas birthday is tomorrow. She’ll be two. We aren’t doing anything because], well, I don’t feel like it. I have always had a BBQ and some family over and I just don’t wanna. I know it’s awful of me, but it’s not like she’ll notice or remember, and it’s not like she has a ton of little friends we’ll be having over or anything. Maybe I’ll make some fairy cakes tomorrow morning.
