Chai wasn’t feeling well yesterday and he tucked himself into our bed at 7.15 and was out by 7.30. This is the child who clings to me at night at 8 pm and finally falls asleep about 15 min later. Well, he woke up a couple of times and came back in (he’d wake up about 20 min after we’d put him back in his room, I finally just gave up). Around 2 am he had a bloody nose! It just wouldn’t stop, and he kept rubbing it so it was all over his hands, and the pillow, the blanket. It was a mess. He was unhappy, we were trying to tilt his head back and put pressure on it. He wasn’t having that! How scary for him it must have been! So that was our middle of the night excitement.
Went to the salon this morning, my eyebrows are lovely again. I have to take Dor to the audiologist on Monday. On Wednesday I go see sheila.
We’ve been watching the leapfrog sound videos. Dor is singing the a goes ah! It’s nice. I’ve had some trouble with letter sounds with him (presumably hearing related, we’ll find out Monday!) so it’s nice to find something that he can immitate/remember a little more easily. It’s also more visual than plain old flash cards, I bet that helps.
