Now that that is working
Went on a picnic today, that was fun. Dor has fun at the park, and I chatted with Jenn. Although I am terrible at small talk. I’d like to get together with her and her boyfriend/husband/significant other/thing with mine and see what happens. She seems like good people, and I need all the good people in my life I can muster.
Wrapped more pressies. Called Rosiehippo.com because their website is misleading and I did not get what I thought I purchased. However, I got free shipping and a slight discount on what I thought I was purchasing, so the boys Channukah wont be ruined. Ok, I didn’t have to spend the extra money on it, but it goes with their gift. So hush.
Got some goodies from Elizabeth at Whole Life Essentials and she sent some extra goodies too! Some Monster Go Away spray, and some pain ease rub, and some eucalyptus-lavender soap, eucalyptus EO, and some relieve EO. Check it out!
Got other goodies in the mail today too. I am gonna miss all this mail and all the packages to open once the season is over. We decided the kids don’t need stuff except for birthdays and channukah/yule so that’s that! I don’t mean in between stuff like clothes or replacement stuff or reward stuff, but none of this getting for the sake of getting and putting us in debt. We just can’t handle it. They have so much, it’s insane!
Dorian got a Good Work ticket today for initiating a discussion about photosynthesis and tress in the car on the way home from the park today. I sort of took a hands off approach this and last week, unschooling, to see what happened. Well, it’s paying off! He asks me about things I would never think to teach to a young five and he gets to learn about what interests him. Double plus! I’m still using the OakMeadow book, just not to the letter.
