we’re leaving in like, two weeks. That means I have two weeks to pay off enough on the credit card to charge the hotel (airfare is already paid for), pack, find wintery clothes for everyone b/c apparently it’s been in the freakin’ 20′s at night in W Va and the 40′s or 50′s in the daytime and do some other random stuff.
Oh, today I have: cleaned off the nightstand, which is actually a 3 drawer chest with the nightstand on top of it; sorted through the stuff next to the bed on the floor, though I do still have things to move from there; read two books to Chai and one to Dorian; thought about dinner (I defrosted chicken breast & steaks last night, I need to figure out what to do with them though).
Later today I will make dinner, but I’m not making promises about anything else. I think I will take most of today off, and just play with the kids. We were talking of going out, but there isn’t anyplace we can all agree on.
I want some Dr Pepper.
I bought a kanzashi brooch from Thea Starr and it got here today. It is just gorgeous. She also threw in a beautiful Japanese style fabric (in fact, knowing Thea it might be from an old kimono or something) bag. It’s just fantastic. She is a peach.
Oh yah, back to my main post. We’ll be there the 7 – 11……. I so don’t want to deal with the cloth diapers while we’re there, but I also don’t want Eshiva’s rash to come back. What’s a girl to do? I just don’t want to have to spend either more money at the hotel doing laundry (and wasting time!) OR have to use the in-laws w/d and run up their water and electric.
My dad is dropping us off at the airport EAF (early as fuck) where we will proceed to drag three kids, three car seats, possibly a stroller, the huge suitcase, and probably at least two carry on’s in, and then three kids, and the carry on’s to the gate. Then we fly into Pittsburgh, where his parents will pick us up, we will drag said baggage to the car, hope we all fit, and drive to Parkersburg W Va. All b/c this flight into PIT was about 100$ less per ticket that into PKB. Then we get to do it all over again on the following Monday to get home. At least I managed to find a 4 pm flight instead of a 7 am flight.
Here’s hoping it’s a nice visit though.

Oi vey!!
Good luck on the visit . . . wish it was a bit closer, I’d come down to visit :/ Not up to driving that far right now, though, unfortunately. It’ll be nice to be in some different surroundings for a while, and hopefully the kids will have fun.
**hugs**
