Names

My given name is Jennifer. Along with the other 5 to 8 girls in every class I was ever in through 12th grade who were also named Jennifer. Or Jenny. Or Jenn. Or some other variant. Spelling it differently doesn’t make it a different name I once knew of a girl who spelled it Jenaphir or some other such nonsense.)

My boys are Dorian Sascha Cain and Malachai Vaughan Gale. Not odd names at all, and I am fairly confident they wont be one of many in any given classroom, in school or in life. We call Dorian Dor and Malachai gets everything from Mal to Chai to Kai to whatever. Such is the bane of being second born *laughs*

I *personally* like different names. There are as many different names as there are people and languages and cultures. I love the name Alexei, tho DH probably wouldn’t let me name any future children that *laughs* (Odd, we were discussing that just the other night) I had a dream we would have a girl, and her name is to be Enid Morningstar. He hates the name Enid. Ranks it up there with Edith (which I also happen to like lol) DH had a dream about Malachai’s name (most of it, not the Vaughan part) and we both had a hand in Dorian’s name. When you find the right name, you will know it , and it wont be too long of a journey to realize it.

Just don?t name your daughter Jennifer or your son Michael.
