i know i complain A LOT about having no local friends. well, tonight, if fish isn’t exhausted (whoohoo! he did SO GOOD at work yesterday! he has a minimum he has to make before he gets more than his salary, and he was just over halfway there yesterday alone!!) we are going to a pagan meet up type thing. and kids are welcome, so even better! someone who went into the shop a bit ago told him about it, and we just kept missing it (it is only the second sat of the month) but we remembered this am, so we might go and maybe meet people!

it is really hard for me to meet people here, i don’t go out much for a myriad of reasons, and the moms group i was part of (which i left a couple days ago due to inactivity) never really got together anymore, and i think, of the people who were left, i knew 2 of them. and we never saw each other. so it’s all good i guess. it will be nice to maybe meet some other moms who have something in common with me. i am sorely tempted to take an ad out in the paper lol it would read:

M(arried)M(om) ISO moms with common interests, including but not limited to, alternative religion, body mods, toddlers/infants, hanging out, general rowdiness is a plus!

or maybe

PolyPaganModdedMarriedMom looking for companions to hang out with. If you have kids under 3, a plus.

so yah, ignore my complaints, i know if i tried to do something about it, maybe i could. i had a freakmama list going, but everyone who joined was north north north, as always.
