101 in 1001
The Mission: Complete 101 preset tasks in a period of 1001 days.
The Criteria: Tasks must be specific (i.e. – no ambiguity in the wording) with a result that is either measurable or clearly defined. Tasks must also be realistic and stretching (i.e. – represent some amount of work on your part).
Start date: 1st January 2010
End date: 28th February 2013
Strikethrough means I have completed that goal.
Italics mean that goal is in progress.
My List
- Make the list.
- Stop biting my nails (again).
- Use the WiiFit at least twice a week.
- Get down to around 125/135 pounds
- Try to do it just five pounds at a time. No unreachable goals for me.
- eat 100% raw at least one meal a day
- stop eating solids after 8PM
- drink more water, less of everything else
- eat breakfast, lunch and dinner at a reasonable time and a reasonable amount. No more skipping or eating fourthmeal at 10PM or later!
- eat more natural food, not processed
- bike at least 3 miles daily M – F
- take care of my dental
- get cleanings every 3 months
- Pay off my credit cards (yes, again). Pay off plan takes us through 2012, but the bulk is done by 2011. see below.

- Put 50$ per pay check into the savings.
- Stop getting take away food/limit it to once a month
- Really dig into some of those photography how-to sites.
- Start tattooing again
- Take photos of all kids at least weekly.
- Re-enroll Shiva in dance class (2010)
- Get Malachai all services needed on IEP(ongoing)
- Look into extra curric for Dorian music lessons!
- Find some extra curric for Malachai
- Play outside at least four times a week with all kids
- Do a craft every day during summer 10
- Get to Disney for Eshiva’s birthday in Feb 10
- Go to the beach on the first Sunday of every month, weather permitting
- Picnic Sundays in between
- go camping
- buy and install closet system fro IKEA for all clothes & toys
- take the kids to some movies
- make s’mores
- make popcorn balls
- make rice crispies treats
- open a savings account for Dorian
- open a savings account for Malachai
- open a savings account for Eshiva
- deposit 75$/mo in to it (25$ each) it’s 20$ each – still not bad!
- Call & Email the extended fam more
- spend more time with the people I love
- try to make the people I care about smile every day
- Declutter the kitchen.
- Declutter the living room.
- Sell/give away shoes and clothes that I don’t wear.
- Clear out the garage.
- Paint the front room.
- Paint the living room.
- Paint the kitchen.
- New cabinets in the kitchen – at least new fronts.
- Finish the flooring in the upstairs hall

- Maintain weekly meal plans.
- Keep the house clean & tidy
- Sweep daily
- mop every other day/every third day
- keep the bathroom clean
- make sure clothes get placed in the hamper
- and washed as soon as it’s full
- serve two veggie or vegan dinner meals per week
- Use the sewing machine now that it has a home and is set up.
- Take a photography walk at least once monthly.
- Draw one 8×10 picture every month (flash or whatever)
- try to blog daily about what is going on. My blog is more like a diary than a “blog” blog, so this is reasonable.
- Read one book I’ve never read before each month (to get out of the rut I am in of re-reading everything over and over and over)
- try and keep track of them on goodreads.com – they need an app!
- Don’t compare my life to others. I have no idea what their journey is all about.
- Don’t over do. Know and keep my limits.
- Don’t take myself too seriously.
- Dream more while I’m awake
- No one is in charge of my happiness except me.
- control my anger
- What other people think of me is none of my business.
- However good or bad a situation is, it will change.
- No matter how I feel, get up, get dressed, and do my day.
- The best is yet to come.
- Choose to be happy.

- Have people over at least once a month
- replace laptop
- get good dirt from compost bin and plant a small veggie garden

- don’t be so weird about the phone – use it more!
- At the end of the 1001 days, make another list of 101.

go for it – it's kind of a make your own lit type thing, but I borrow off my friends lists lol
